How EduPrefect works

These pages explain why EduPrefect behaves as it does. Nothing here tells you which buttons to press — the role sections do that. Read these when a rule has surprised you and you want to understand the thinking behind it.

Topics: how your school’s data is kept separate from every other school, the roles and permissions model, the session and three-term structure, the assessment and grading model, attendance modes, the fee lifecycle, how alerts choose between in-app, WhatsApp, SMS and push, and how the apps work offline.
